Council of Urban Boards of Education (CUBE)

CUBE represents over 100 urban school districts in 37 states. Our member districts educate nearly 8 million students, in over 12,000 schools, with a budget of more than 80 billion dollars. NALEO: National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials

Chaired the REAUTHORIZATION OF THE NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND ACT – RECOMMENDATIONS AND STRATEGIES TO ELIMINATE THE EDUCATION GAP session during NALEO’s National Conference in Orlando, Florida.

Fun 4 Kidz was created to enable children of disadvantaged South Florida families to enjoy the privileges most American children take for granted.  The mission of Fun 4 Kidz is to make it possible for these children to learn the skills to develop their talent and benefit from the life lessons that can be learned through sports. They benefit merely by participating in a structured program demanding teamwork, dedication, sportsmanship, and scholastic achievement...qualities leading to success.
